La Coruña is a port city located on a promontory in the region of Galicia (northwest Spain). An important historical port, it is located on the northwest coast of the Iberian Peninsula, in the Rias Altas. This is a city to walk and enjoy, with beaches in the centre and, chaired by the Tower of Hercules, a long promenade that almost completely surrounds it. Its Costa da Morte, with important marine ecosystems, has steep cliffs, dunes and seafaring villages with traditional lighthouses and beaches. The interior is characterized by mountains and green valleys. A Coruña is a city that stands out for its very high population density, caused in part by the limited size of its municipal area. Areas such as Juan Flórez, Los Mallos or the Agra del Orzán are very crowded and have several areas of villas.
